Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from started. Running this app might put your PC at risk."</i> <strong>All this means is I haven't <u>paid</u> Microsoft to officially certify this <u>free</u> app.</strong> The app is completely safe.</li><li>If you get the popup, click ”More info", then “Run anyway.”</li><li>Wait for installation to complete. The app will start automatically. It will be added to your start menu and desktop.</li></ol><figure class="image"><img src="/uploads/New_Project_ba5fec5a2c.png"></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Modes</h2><p>Mosh includes 7 modes, each of which can be customized.</p><ul><li><strong>Default:</strong> Just remove <a href="https://ottverse.com/i-p-b-frames-idr-keyframes-differences-usecases/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">i-frames</a>.</li><li><strong>Random: </strong>Randomize frame order.</li><li><strong>Reverse: </strong>Reverse frame order.</li><li><strong>Invert:</strong> Switch each consecutive frame with each other.</li><li><strong>Bloom:</strong> - Duplicate <a href="https://ottverse.com/i-p-b-frames-idr-keyframes-differences-usecases/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">p-frame</a> number N a total of C times.</li><li><strong>Pulse:</strong> Duplicate groups of C p-frames every N frames. (my favorite)</li><li><strong>Overlap:</strong> Copy groups of C frames taken from every Nth position</li></ul><h4>Threshold</h4><p>The threshold (0.00 - 1.00) determines how many frames will be removed from the video, enhancing the datamoshing effect. This project would not have been possible without it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Tips</h2><ul><li>Hard cuts produce the best results for achieving effects like “breaking through the frame.”</li><li>Use a video editor program like Premiere Pro or <a href="https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DaVinci Resolve (free) </a>to edit multiple source videos together with hard cuts.</li><li>Lower resolution videos will result in blockier glitching too.</li><li>Depending on your settings, your datamoshed video may become slow motion or be unexpectedly shortened.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>System Requirements</h2><ul><li>Windows 10 or Windows 11.</li><li>Supported inputs: MP4, MOV, AVI, WEBM.</li><li>Outputs MP4 at a bitrate of 50mbps. 1hr ~= 22GB.</li><li>Please note processing very long videos will take a while, even on the fastest computers. Short videos (&lt;5 minutes) are recommended.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>
